ITV - The Winter King
Arise, King Arthur! It was a joy to bring the star of the series centred around one of Britain’s most legendary characters to the 783.5m2 screen over at Piccadilly!
We embarked on this project with our partners at Ocean Outdoor and ITV, bringing the star of ITVX's new season of 'The Winter King' to the big telly in town. Not only did we build the rocky medieval environment to create the atmospheric setting true to the TV show's aesthetic, but also went to a green screen studio to work with the talented actor Iain De Caestecker and his very strict sword expert, who taught him (and us) how to handle the heavy and rather intimidating weapon.
The environment was built in Cinema 4D and X-Particles, followed by compositing the shot footage into the DeepScreen setting for maximum 3D effect at the Piccadilly Lights.
