MICROSOFT SURFACE DUO - TITLE SEQUENCE

Microsoft Surface’s 5-part web series, ‘The Balance’, aired during a time when everything was off balance. Covid, lockdown and working from home became regular aspects of life for many and the title sequence needed to reflect the paradox of comedy and thriller, work life and home life, balance and imbalance. We loved bringing this to life, from initial drawings to animation, to music.

Blind Pig Composer, Joe Worters, took inspiration from the opening titles of modern, hi-octane dramas and combined aspects from his findings with the nostalgic sound of Saul Bass title sequences. Joe also worked closely with Blind Pig’s animation team to build musical excitement and dynamism via a bespoke track which seamlessly married sound and sight.
